The Special Waste Contract is an Evergreen agreement that protects the interests of you, our valued client, and Covanta. This agreement outlines terms and conditions. Specific waste stream pricing is provided quarterly on a Covanta approval letter, which is an attachment to the contract.

The cover page:
- Asks you to identify your company general information
- Billing information - if different from the above
- Please check off desired Covanta disposal locations
- Outlines Covanta Secure Services' payment provisions
The Terms & Conditions:
- Section 1 defines Special Waste, Unacceptable Waste and Hazardous Waste
- Section 2 defines the Material Characterization Form and the approval letter
- Section 3 provides indemnification for the client as well as Covanta Secure Services
- Section 4 outlines the laws that apply to this agreement and defines events of force majeure
- Section 5 states the insurance provisions you will need to maintain
- Section 6 states the mutual termination clause for this evergreen contract
- Section 7 lists the governing body for this agreement
Schedule 1:
- Provides a sample of the current approval letter which you will receive for each accepted waste stream
- Provides a sample of the current 48-hour notice which you will need to schedule a delivery into any Covanta facility. See "Scheduling a Waste Pick-up" for more information.
Schedule 2:
Contains the facility Rules and Regulations which must be adhered to while on Covanta facility property.
